This year, Amplify is making its grand stage appearance in Nashville, Tennessee, famously known as the "Music City." If you're gearing up to be part of the live audience, get ready for a rocking experience. You won't only be tapping your feet to over 70 enlightening sessions, catching the star-studded keynotes, and racking up a solid 13 CPE credits—you'll also have the chance to explore the captivating sights of this harmonious metropolis.

Much like Amplify itself, Nashville isn't a one-hit wonder. It's a city with a historic groove, where its roots are deeply intertwined with country music, a vibrant culinary scene, and a reputation as the ultimate destination for party animals. So whether you're a music enthusiast, a history buff, or just craving some delicious Southern cuisine, the Music City offers a diverse range of experiences for every taste and tune.

Here are a few must-see attractions:

The Grand Ole Opry, a legendary institution in the world of country music, has been a cornerstone of the genre since its humble beginnings as a radio broadcast in the roaring '20s. Over the years, it has gracefully evolved into a premier live entertainment platform, graced by the legends of country and bluegrass. What's more, it's just a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute drive from Amplify's venue.

Attending a live performance at the Grand Ole Opry is akin to securing a backstage pass to musical history. Now usually, we’d suggest to you peruse their schedule for upcoming shows, but we’ve got you covered with the Amplify closing event—a live performance at the Opry by none other than Darius Rucker! If you're feeling particularly eager for a dose of behind-the-scenes charm, don't pass up the opportunity to go on a backstage tour.

Nestled right in the heart of Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum is where the twang meets the town. This place is like a musical time capsule, where the history of country music gets a front-row seat. You'll discover a treasure trove of artifacts, interactive exhibits, and enough recordings to rival your favorite playlist—all narrating the captivating journey of country music.

Don't rush your visit here—it's a little like two-stepping through history. Take your time to leisurely stroll through the museum's exhibits and get up close and personal with the life stories and careers of country music's brightest stars. And of course, don't leave without swinging by the Hall of Fame rotunda—where the most influential and legendary figures in country music are honored and celebrated. Inside the Rotunda, visitors can find plaques with the names and brief biographies of each Hall of Fame inductee.

Didn’t make it to Greece this summer? Not to worry. In the heart of Nashville's Centennial Park, you'll find a fascinating paradox—a full-scale replica of the Parthenon in Athens, Greece. This replica, constructed in 1897, had a bold mission: to crown Nashville as the "Athens of the South." Since then, it's become an enduring symbol of the city, an emblem of timeless elegance.

The Parthenon in Nashville is renowned for its meticulous attention to detail in replicating the architectural features of the ancient Greek Parthenon. It provides visitors with a unique opportunity to experience the grandeur of ancient Greek architecture in the heart of the United States. Once you've sauntered through this slice of "Greece in America," why not treat yourself to another leisurely jaunt through Centennial Park, a well-loved hotspot for both Nashville natives and curious tourists.

Now, let's talk about hot chicken—Nashville's specialty dish that has been spicing things up since the 1930s. This crispy and downright irresistible fried chicken dish has become the town's not-so-hidden secret, a beloved delicacy that'll make your taste buds beg for more.

Southern cuisine is more than just food—it's a slice of history plated with flavor. If you're keen to dive into a fiery affair with hot chicken, Hattie B's Hot Chicken and Prince's Hot Chicken are where the heat is on. But, if you're craving the warm embrace of classic Southern comfort food, look no further than Loveless Cafe and Arnold's Country Kitchen. Both are renowned for serving classic Southern comfort food, with that same Southern hospitality. Their signature dishes, which feature homemade preserves, country ham, fried chicken, and pork barbecue, evoke the same comforting feeling as lounging on a porch swing during a leisurely afternoon.

In the grand symphony of Nashville's nightlife, Honky Tonk Highway takes center stage. Nestled along Lower Broadway, Honky Tonk Highway is a bustling lineup of honky tonks that keep the city alive with live music from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. And the best part? There's no cover charge. That's right, no need to reach into your wallet—you can save those precious dollars for something even more meaningful, like tipping the talented musicians.

For a memorable encore, consider visiting venues such as Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and Robert's Western World—they serve as hidden gems, offering an authentic taste of Nashville's music scene. Find a comfortable spot up front and enjoy the musical performance!
