Biography
Brandon Ziegler is EVP, Chief Legal Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and Corporate Secretary. He joined Workiva in March 2020, bringing over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, M&A, securities, venture financing, commercial negotiation, privacy and international law.
Since joining Workiva, he has equipped the legal team with the leadership and tools necessary to scale the company’s legal strategy across its growing global operations, bringing with him demonstrated expertise in the SaaS industry. Previously, Brandon served as senior vice president, deputy general counsel and assistant corporate secretary at Medidata Solutions, a leading technology and data platform for life sciences. Prior to Medidata, he led ADP’s legal department for multinational corporations as vice president and assistant general counsel.
Brandon also has extensive private practice experience, counseling public and private companies in global corporate development, corporate governance and commercial transactions. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where he was an international business law fellow. He is conversant in multiple languages including Japanese and Spanish.
